A thunderstorm blustered its way across southeastern Kern County but didn't appear to cause any flooding or damage, according to the National Weather Service.
Meteorologist Jim Bagnall said the storm lasted for about an hour late Monday afternoon. Strong, gusty winds were reported, with Edwards Air Force Base reporting winds of 58 mph.
There was a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms Tuesday, Bagnall said.
