Bakersfield police are asking for the public's help identifying three suspects wanted for robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.

At 12:40 p.m. Aug. 25, the suspects walked into the Rite Aid at 1601 23rd St. and each selected a 30-pack of beer. One of the suspects ran out without paying while the other two were detained by store employees.

These two suspects struggled with employees and eventually ran out of the store without the beer. The employees followed the suspects to the parking lot where one of the suspects threw a full can of beer at an employee, striking him in the face.

The suspects left in a black, newer model, 2-door Honda Civic.

The suspects are each described as white men in their early 20s. One is described as 6 feet tall, 190 pounds, shaved head, wearing a white T-shirt and gray shorts.

Another is described as 6 feet 1 inches tall, 300 pounds, shaved head, wearing a black T-shirt and brown shirts. The third is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, thin build, wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a gray baseball cap.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects is asked to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111 or Detective Sean Morphis at 326-3871.
