A prostitution sting netted 15 arrests Wednesday.

Three female Bakersfield Police officers and one female investigator for the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) pretended to be prostitutes at a motel located near three ABC licensed establishments, according to an ABC news release.

All 15 people contacted by the officers were arrested on suspicion of soliciting prostitution.

The sting was conducted by the Bakersfield Police Department, the Kern County Sheriff's Department Joint Vice Task Force and ABC investigators with money from the ABC grant assistant program, the news release said.
