Our Mother is our best friend. She has always been there for us and always will. She may have not supported us in all our decisions but always been supportive during the good and bad, with her love. Growing up we would complain about going antique bottle hunting or to those darn antique stores, but now fifty years later, we are asking her to go with us to those darn antique stores and as we walk down those isles reminiscing over time , we are sharing what we enjoy. We are in total awe of her. At being close to 88 years old, she still lives in her own home, takes care of it’s maintenance, cleaning, does her own grocery shopping and that’s the way she wants it. What an inspiration she is. If we are able in our lifetimes to achieve what she has we would feel very blessed (as she does). This month we are planning together an exciting event. We are going to her 70th high school reunion. Isn’t that remarkable? Just as much as her, we are looking foward to it an can’t wait to hear her and her classmates sing their high school cheer. We are looking forward to our shopping days, adventures and most of all the laughter. We love you so very much, Mother, keep that beautiful smile and sense of humor. You brighten our days.
