11-year-old boy shot on Niles Street

An 11-year-old boy was shot Thursday evening in east Bakersfield.

The victim was found in the 1200 block of Niles Street at about 7:30 p.m., according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
The boy suffered minor to moderate injuries in his right arm, police said. His condition was not known Thursday night.
Police were looking for four Hispanic males in a white Chevrolet Cavalier. No arrests have been made.
