Two cars burned in Rosamond garage fire

Two cars were destroyed in a Rosamond garage fire on Thursday morning.

The 10:55 a.m. blaze in the 2400 block of Williams Court engulfed a garage, a car in the garage and another in the driveway, Kern County firefighters said. The fire spread to the attic and firefighters cut holes in the roof to ventilate the house.
The fire was under control within an hour and firefighters were making sure the blaze was fully extinguished.
There were no injuries, firefighters said. Two people were home at the time but were able to escape unharmed.
