Broadway in Bakersfield’s June 1 staging of “Chicago” (which gave us the onomatopoeic “Cell Block Tango”) has been postponed to 7 p.m Sept. 7.
All tickets purchased for the show at the theater at Rabobank Convention Center will be honored in September.
Subscriptions are on sale for the Tejon Ranch Presents Broadway in Bakersfield 2008-09 season of touring theatrical acts.

Mega-selling act Mannheim Steamroller celebrates space exploration. Their arrangements of space favorites include the “Star Trek” theme and what’s billed as “the most accurate audio recording ever made of the space shuttle launch and landing.” Local musicians will accompany the group.

The Tony Award-winning comedy about a singing teen heartthrob who sends a quiet Midwestern town into a tizzy.
“Dirty Rotten Scoundrels”
