Travers, Cobb win at Tachi

LEMOORE -- Former Cal State Bakersfield wrestlers Brian Cobb and Bryan Travers each won their mixed martial arts bouts on Friday night at the Palace Fighting Championships event at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino outside of Lemoore.

Cobb (16-4) retained his PFC lightweight belt with a unanimous decision over Temecula's David Gardner (15-10).
Travers (11-1) won the vacant PFC World Welterweight Championship with a unanimous decision over Modesto's Jeremiah Metcalf (9-6).
