Liberty used an explosive offensive attack and an opportunistic defense to pull away early and cruise to a 49-13 Southeast Yosemite League victory Friday over Golden Valley at Stockdale High.
Senior quarterback Byron Campbell led the Patriots' offense by completing 11-of-16 passes for 224 yards and four touchdowns.
Chad Pollard was Campbell's top target, catching five passes for 151 yards and two touchdowns.
Campbell completed 10-of-13 passes in the first half and threw all four touchdowns before halftime as Liberty led 35-0 at the break.
Anthony Vasquez led a balanced ground game by the Patriots, gaining 84 yards on 11 carries and scoring once.
Liberty (4-2, 2-0 SEYL) rushed for 235 yards and three players ran for touchdowns.
The Liberty defense also contributed, forcing five turnovers and picking off four passes.
Running back Ryean Johnson scored two late touchdowns to put Golden Valley (2-4, 0-3 SEYL) on the board to spoil the Patriots' shutout.
