What is Race to Victory?
It’s a fantasy racing challenge for the Sprint Cup series of NASCAR.Do I need to register?
Yes, register and check your email to confirm your registration. If you’ve played the Beat the Experts Football or Oscars contest, you’ll be registered and can use your existing login information for Race to Victory.How to play Race to Victory?
A few days before each race, you can login and select your eight drivers from three groups. Choose two drivers from Class A, four drivers from Class B, and two drivers from Class C. For each driver selected, you will be awarded points based on how they place in the race.How long does the Challenge run?
It runs for 36 weeks ending in November 2008.How are winners selected?
Winners will be selected throughout the challenge based on total overall points. If there are multiple winners with the same points, we will randomly select one for the prize.What are the prizes?
T-shirts, car wash passes, My Fantasy Drivers NASCAR Monopoly games, tickets to local events.How will I know if I’ve won a prize?
Winners will be notified by email for their prize. Prizes must be claimed within 10 days of being notified or their prize will be forfeited. Winners will also be posted on the Race to Victory site, in the Local Sports Newsletter on Thursdays and in print in The Bakersfield Californian Sports section.What are the rules?
-Must be 18 years or older to play and a resident of Kern County to be eligible to win prizes.-Valid email address is required. One account per email address.
-Employees and family members of The Bakersfield Californian are not eligible to win prizes.The Bakersfield Californian reserves the right to remove accounts with inappropriate photos, usernames or tag lines.
