McCain coming to Bakersfield

Arizona Sen. John McCain, the Republican presidential nominee in waiting, will be in Bakersfield on Monday.

He will attend a lunchtime fundraiser at the Seven Oaks country club hosted by Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Bakersfield, and other local Republicans.
It was unknown at press time if he would also hold an event open to the general public.
