Funeral services for Buck Owens

Services will be broadcast live on all three of the country legend's three Bakersfield radio stations and on his company Web site. There will be live television coverage from two local stations. The funeral, scheduled to take place Sunday at 2 p.m. at Valley Baptist Church, will be broadcast on:

plan to air the funeral live using sanctuary's cameras.

Virtually all Bakersfield radio stations are planning to play Owens' 1988 hit, "Streets of Bakersfield," at noon Friday in honor of Owens' passing.

Owens died March 25 at his ranch north of Bakersfield at age 76, just a few hours after performing for the final time at his dinner club and museum, the Crystal Palace.
