Michael Bryan Dunn, 36, Kevin Earl Corley, 44, and Christopher Peterson, 19, of the Lake Isabella area were arrested along with Goshen residents Clarence Hoffman, 52, Shane Nursery, 34, and Roy Virgin, 51, on suspicion of possession of dangerous weapons and drugs and being gang members, a Sheriff's Department news release said. The men were booked into the Central Receiving Facility.

The men may have been trying to start a branch of the Vagos outlaw motorcycle gang.

Dunn and Corley were also arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, kidnapping, dissuading a witness, conspiracy and other gang-related charges stemming from another investigation, the news release said. More arrests were pending.

The Sheriff's Gang Unit contacted the men at the Happy Haven Trailer Park on Lake Isabella Boulevard.

There was no reply to an e-mail sent to the Vagos outlaw motorcycle gang Web site and a message was not returned by the Happy Haven Trailer Park.
